Bethesda to fans: Pay up or go screw yourselves

Well as I mentioned that the game itself might be a decent FALLOUT 3, but of course different from the previous two.

They might make a nice game, but they sure as hell won't be a nice company. As a firm I haven't seen a single thing that would give me an impression of them being "nice company". The attitude they have is surely going to bite them in arse, perhaps not yer, but eventually.

We all know that Bethsoft is a PR nightmare. They've screwed up in the past, (STO anyone) and they have already decided on the game's target market. (As f*cked up as that sounds)

They'll get better press and less harsh reality by staying as far as possible from d&c and nma. At this point the game is wait and see. But then again I expect nothing but pain and suffering.

Besides true hardcore fans will always have hope (Fallout MMO anyone?)

It bugs me because I remember someone forever ago saying something to the effect of WHY WOULD BETHESDA GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BUY RIGHTS TO A GAME THAT NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF SAVE A DIE HARD GROUP OF FANATICS UNLESS THEY TRULY LOVED THAT GAME AND WANTED TO MAKE A WORTHY SEQUEL. Now it comes right back at whoever it was because why the fuck did they spend a few million dollars to buy rights to a game that, really, not many people know of, much less have actually played? Honestly if they had not been such fucking morons and just made a post-apocalyptic setting game all their own then sure, whatever, but seriously, why would you pretend to continue a game that you have no interest in actually continuing, you're just abusing for the super mutants and Brotherhood. It's an absolute joke. I don't care if it's going to be a "good game, just not a Fallout game," because at the end of the day the title says FALLOUT, jackass, it's a GAME that is FALLOUT, thus a FALLOUT GAME. Again back to the independent post-apoc game. I may well have bought and enjoyed that. This I have zero hope whatsoever for.

It's in proto-form but doing fine. They've got a developer and some interesting ideas for changing how death works in MMOGs.
