Exitium of The Inquisition passed along that the second part of the Lionheart timeline is up on RPG Vault. This time, it covers The Rise of the Necromancers, which is the Fifth Crusade. Here's a taste:

In 1336, a group of powerful dark wizards stole a magical tome possessing the secrets of life and death from the pharaohs. The Book of the Dead detailed the art of necromancy, the magic of the afterlife and death. After studying the book, these necromancers twisted the ancient rituals and bound dark spirits to dead bodies, creating a powerful army of mindless undead warriors.

Beginning with a direct attack on the populous capital of Alexandria, the necromancers decimated the unprepared and unwary Egyptian forces. As the city burned, the bodies of fallen warriors and citizens increased, and so did the armies of the undead. Alexandria became a city of the dead on Earth and the capital of the necromancers' nation. Within a year, the surrounding African nations had also fallen and the necromancers and their ever-growing army of undead controlled all of Northern Africa.

Necromancers, always a pain in the ass!
