I smell CITY MAP instead of WORLD MAP for some reason.

And that urban area is Washington. If the travelling is in real time there probably isn't much more than Washington. It's a pretty big city. I'm not complaining really, it should be alot of fun wandering around a destroyed D.C.

And that power armor looks exactly like the dead body in the Paradise Falls art

The chestplate bothers me a bit. And the shoulderpads look kinda strange. But I like the helmet and the arms.

Nice. Seriously, i was surprised hearing Ron Pearlman, i played it three times to be sure, its him. Other than that yeah music/atmosphere hits the nail on the head. At least it is something "Fallout-y" not some Craig Mullins-y. But i had problems with the shitty website, Quicktimeplayer? Niggas please, dont step to these. Fall 2008 is alright, yes i am pretty optimistic right now, only for today. :chew: I guess with money is everything possible.

As someone else had pointed out in another forum, the appearance of power armor doesn't necessarily mean that it is Brotherhood of Steel armor. We still don't know if the Brotherhood will be in the game at all.

Well they certainly did their homework, i recognized:

Bottle of rotgut, Nuka Cola, Pipboy, Inkspots, Highwayman, Fatman bomb, BOS logo, power armor, Ron Perlman, fallouty buildings.

Not bad, above my expectations. And i kinda like that it's ingame. no rendercraps.

That armor looks a bit plasticy like one of those fake armor suits that kids put on, doesn't looks very solid and air proof.

Anyways, everything looks okay except for that same epic shitty music. Fall 2008 is pretty damn far away :( .

this trailer really sucked, much like alexander does for spare change.

But seriously, the movie was lame..
Do these glasses and my two chins make me look sexy?

Sure, the flick didn't say much, it just gave away the general setting and feel of the game. And so far bethsoft are doing okay.
We'll see how they plan to handle combat, perspective, SPECIAL, and the core game mechanics. Those are the hard ones.
But I must say that I'm relieved that they haven't fucked up yet (as far as we know).

well, that was disappointing.
i allready expected to hear "I dont want to se the world on fire", since they wanted it for FO1 and since it's a great fit for FO. the other music was ambient all right, but still crap. and that power-armour doesn't look like any power-armour i've ever seen. is this what we've been waiting for for the the last 10 years?
