Wasteland Revival site updated

Post by Saint_Proverbius »

[ -> N/A]

The site for the guys working on The Revival for the classic Wasteland has been updated with more information. They're switching from using VBASIC to Java, they've got some more screenshots, and other goodies. Here's a disappointing bit though:

Here you can see a great picture by Senor Deluxe. The way it is created would be enough to use it in a commercial product. The problem with such artwork is that it takes too much time to create and that not as many people are skilled in creating rendered artwork. I would have loved to use this style but I think this would have settled the project on a by far too professional level and the result would have been just another unfinished fan made remake.
That's a shame, because his work is fantastic, and I'd much rather wait for his work just to see more of it.

Same with me, it was the most impressing feature.
