aren't you like 13? you shouldn't be binging on a substance that causes brain damage until you're at least 16

re:video, i have to say the character models are pretty sweet. everything else looks a tad unfinished (judging by the clutter in the inventory/character screens, the garishness of combat etc. etc.) but it looks like it had the potential to be an alright game if nothing that innovative.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

It won't. It was canceled. The only thing we have left to *gulp* look forward to is Bethesda's FO3.

The game looked pretty good in the video, if it didn't have RT combat it might of been decent.

Sunnovabitch. He had a frikkin CHAINSAW!!!

Mixed feelings on this one. Looks like Fallout, but....real-time combat system? 3D models? No talking heads? Hrm. Heads may have just been placeholders in alpha, but it looks like they were going with a different conversation setup entirely.

Sucks to be you guys. I already have a Japanese copy of Van Beuren. It came out last Christmas over there. And yes, the combat is real-time. The talking heads are really cool too. They are all done in anime so it gives the game a really cool, Naruto-type feeling. I cant wait till the english version is released so I can understand what's going on, it doesn't matter much though because the story isn't a big part of the game.

I wish they used the Ella Fitzgerald version or something instead of the Connie Francis. But yea, good choice of muzik.

Edit: Is NMA sure that's Connie Francis? It sounds alot like the Mommas and the Poppas rendition.

The graphics engine and look was spot on.

The real time combat was nasty, and I know I would have hated that.

What Beth could take away from that is the top down viewpoint, the cutaway roof graphics, and all that. As soon as I saw that, it screamed Fallout to me, and removed any doubt in my mind that you need that viewpoint/style to keep it 'Fallout'. It goes with the whole 'cute' thing, like a fun board game, which contrasts with the horrible stuff that goes on in the wasteland.

I don't think what I saw was 'fallout 3'. Just as the video demonstrated how important the viewpoint is, it also demonstrated the opposite for the combat in that video - that definitely is NOT fallout. It looked like BG2, or something. Ugh, no.

It looks very strange, a proper 2d version with 3d effects for flame throwers or blood etc. would still be the best, i think. It looks like in the game you start as a prisoner... :how Morrowind/Oblivion?: ... i dont know, i love Fallout for other things like dialouge and the consequences every step could have. The combat seems :? ugh... cant find words. Jeah pretty unfinished, unfortunatly we cant compare it with Beth´s work, yet. But i fear simplified skills/character creation stats and dialouges.
