[ Game -> Update ] - More info on <a href="#Feargus Urquart">Person: Feargus Urquart</a> | More info on <a href="#Obsidian Entertainment">Company: Obsidian Entertainment</a> | More info on <a href="#Hellgate: London">Game: Hellgate: London</a>

<a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/system/admin/www.sega.com" target="_blank">SEGA</a> and <a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/system/admin ... anent.com/" target="_blank">Obsidian Entertainment</a> (led by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feargus_Urquhart" target="_blank">Feargus Urquhart</a>) has just announced an RPG based on the Alien License. No more info is available at this time, but it is rumoured that a second Alien game will be announced by SEGA tomorrow.

Also, IGN has taken another peek at Hellgate: London, and it looks pretty grim. "The attributes "..." are Accuracy, Concentration, Stamina and Willpower." Looks like we're in for a Diablo dumb-down, if that's even possible.

On a completely different note, <a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/forums/profi ... ile&u=4868" target="_blank">Jesus</a> took some time out of his busy schedule to tell me about his upcoming birthday, which is on the 24th of december. My own birthday is on the 28th, so I know all about having to arrange birthday celebrations in the middle of the holiday season. Tough luck Jesus, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

I like him. I really do.

Just as a sidenote the Alien license is about the setting/idea, not the movies. So it might be something interesting, but will it be a RPG...(real). As an idea it's quite nice. Perhaps the best way to create a "moviegame". The Alien universe is also quite large (the stuff in the movies is quite limited).

Yeah. Most people think that Alien is about Bill Paxton shooting aliens.

One thing I like about the Aliens is the reflex instinct to get something to shoot the fucker. With that I mean you really really want those bastards dead! No place for sympathy with those things. The only good Xenomorph is a dead one.

The thing just screams "you are utterly and thoroughly fucked if you are seeing me". There isn't many designs that have that, they aren't your buddies.

Yes, the news could have had some pictures (alien) or something, but as news. Plus any news about Feargus is always good (and about his sister even better!). ok, but the thing that made me like him was this:
