The Departed

Talk about music, movies, TV, books, other types of entertainment and what your vices are. Also, if you're addicted to the high you get off Aspirin, this is the place to talk about it.

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Sometimes, when I'm having a bad day, I think about you, Jesus, and things get better.

But seriously, what the shit? That ending was pure garbage. The last thirty seconds with Mark Wahlberg made it bearable, but only just so. And the rat on the railing? Come on, we're not in sixth grade.

I think I've heard that it is. Is that a Japanese or Korean movie?

I'd like a Non-Tarintino remake of City on Fire or maybe Bullet to the Head.

well it was rather sad and somewhat disturbing for a pair of fuckish lovebirds abaft the paramount row where I was moviemongering, but not as utterly disturbing as a 15-year old's cock that jumps in your face from the internet, plus dicaprio's perfomance was kinda risky and unexpectedly credible, and so I didn't argue with my best friend's true friend when he told me outside the cinema that the ending was ok for him and martin scorcese, and we just slowly dissapeared in the night of october as speachless as blargh's fed-up python of love.

I thought the ending was fine. Appropriate even. kept up with the paranoia as survival. how every characters meets his end when he drops the paranoia and falls back to what he thinks is a safety zone. Enjoyed the parallel stories of DiCaprio and Damon. I thought the whole film worked very well as a whole. Loved the ultra violence. Bloody mess was in full effect.

It was an excellent movie. Very well made, good acting, and the music really fitted the movie.
What was that song with bagpipes?

I believe your referring to the Dropkick Murphy's song. I downloaded it when I got out of the movie. Can't remember the song name though.

It was kinda funny, though. Marky Mark was the only person who lived because he was suspended for being an asshole. He was the only person prettymuch not shot in the head, for being an asshole.

"Yeah? And who the fuck are you?"

Dum de dum de dum dum dum dum dum dum.

I really loved it. Everyone was great in it, especially Nicholson as a complete sleazebag.

He was the probably one of the most entertaining in the movie, I really didn't expect it.
