They promise The Earth, and will deliver. Yes, they will. A handful of dirt. Technical trumpet. I worry for those who harboured illusions of conceptual endurance. :drunk:

And in multiplayer, you can't really squash another stalker with a huge concrete block: that is, you kill him, but no dismemberment or gory deaths, no sirre. THQ is damn serious about killing your friends on the net: you can do that, but VERY courteously.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Date [June 13, 2006, 7:59 pm ET] - Viewing Comments
GSC Game World sends along the latest release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, the frequently delayed first-person shooter that was originally planned for release in early 2003 under the title S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost. Word is:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Release date confirmed
GSC Game World officially confirms the release date of the long-awaited S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Survival FPS as fixed for Q1 2007. Further release details are expected later.
2003 --> 2007 and in that time, they've removed everything that would've made the game worth playing.

Ha, they just got rid of unique ammo for guns. I shit you not. Read the latest preview at IGN.

It sounds to me like they're preparing a console game. Another YEAR of bugtesting is fucking bullshit.
