Fallout 3 Release Date!!!

We now have a definitive release date for Fallout 3, and it's a lot earlier than any of us suspected. Take a look at the Press Release from Bethesda.

Rockville, MD - April 1, 2006 - Bethesda Softworks® today announced that the highly-anticipated role-playing game, Fallout® 3: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game, will be available in stores in North America and Europe during the week of July 17. Fallout® 3 will be available for Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC in both regular and collector's editions.

"Our most ambitious project ever is nearing completion," said Todd Howard, executive producer of Fallout® 3. For the last 3 years DAC has always posted FO3 publisher/release dates on April 1st on their web site. I had to prepare myself over a month ago, NOT to get excited when going to DAC homepage. I literally held my breath today---hoping to see FO3 news---and there it was. I knew it was DAC being DAC and yet...I was still excited.
