Vault 13

Post by Demon-X »

Has anyone ever managed to save the deathclaw in V13, im sure its something to do with schnieder in navarro but, when I played FO2 last night the vault had already been attacked, but schneider said he would submit his report about killing the deathclaw after the vault was attacked.

Ive played FO2 six times now and ive never been able to figure it out. :?

*sigh*

YOU CANNOT SAVE THEM

Best you ccan to is get no ending. To do that, once yo've fixed the voice module and talked to Gruthar, NEVER RETURN TO V13 (technically you can return for 2 weeks, but after the 2 weeks, he's dead...)

Voila, magic.

that sucks :?

Id have thought ther'd at least be a way to stop schneider from posting a report or at least warn the deathclaw about the attack.

I really wanted those guys to survive aswell

The doctor with the cyberdog in Navarro, in the sound proof room.

Why would you want to save the buggers? The most feared creatures of the original, now tame, domesticated crapcakes? Kill them by yourself for chrissake. Thet should have never been concieved, much less brought into the Fallout world. Kill them I say!

Anyhoo, yup, it is just an unfinished ending. 8O Fallout 2 having bugs in it? Who would have guessed? :D

No one said it was a bug not being able to save them... How about they thought for a bit and *poof* wait a minute, can't have thinking deathclaws in the ending or we'll need to feature them in FO3, and that just simply isn't right!

Found another way to find V13. At least with a super character, haven't tried it with a regular one yet. When checking out Westin's cattle, and the deathclaws show up, I went to the right and found a green exit grid. Took me right to V13.

some mod maker should complete all the unfinished quests... and fix all the glitches and make an un-official patch for the game.

you know?

Danferry, you can follow the deathclaws after guarding the brahmin if your outdoorsman skill is high enough. (100% according to Per's walkthrough)

The doc in NCR next to the tavern sells the map for 10 000.

You can download the location from one of Vault 15's working comps. Don't recall which one though and I think you need some science skill to get that.
