New Post Apocalyptic Novel

Post by King of Creation »

[ Literature -> Article ] - More info on Literature: Messiah of the Changed Earth

There's a new post apocalyptic novel in the works. It's called Messiah of the Changed Earth. Here's what the author had to say:

Hey Group...Thought this might interest some of your post apocalytic junkies like me:)

It's my new novel and series beginning:)

The World of Messiah is set in the year 2762 AD after a virus has
rewritten the genetic code of the human race, and laid waste to
civilization. 725 years later, Dr. Jonathan Mace awakens from a deep
stasis experiment with the power to stop the returning pathogen. Along
with Chia, a beautiful native woman of a new race, the Messiah faces
the challenges of a Changed world, and searches in a polar shift
altered landscape to find a cure to save mankind.

MESSIAH OF THE CHANGED EARTH is a new completely illustrated novel
series for fans of the post apocalyptic genre. In tribute to the
Science Fiction movies and stories of that genre, comes a new adventure
post apocalyptic fans will surely love.

Wow, I wish you good luck, there's no doubt about that, but it looks terrible.

And by the way, giving your hero a beard is a bad idea.

Seems ripe to be adapted for film, directed (and graced with thespian presence) by Kevin Costner. With any luck, the gibbering masses would blame Him for any embarrassment and or failure(s), rather than They That Brought The Seed(s).

So sorry. :drunk:

I havn't read a post apoc book since Iron and Wolf, and that kind of put me off. Even if it was simply a social collapse apoc setting. If they ever decide to sell it at the book stores around me (unlikly, seeming all they sell is Tolken and <insert crappy writer who writes nothing except things about dragons here>).

Good luck with it though.

Ditch the Poser models, man. They cheapen the feel.

I've noticed a trend in all these pics. Everyone seems to really enjoy bathtime.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I hope he comes out with a non-illustrated version. Poser gives me the heebie jeebies. And from what I read from the preview PDF, the book itself wasn't that bad.

Yeah, it must part of the plot of the story or something. Waterworld adaptation gone crazy.

For being a bunch of unwashed savages they sure do keep themselves groomed well, even spending the time to shave off pubic hair.

Seems to me it's some sort of erotic novel in a post apocaplyptic setting from just looking at the pictures. I swear, in every other picture someone is naked for one reason or another. I didn't read much of it because, well, the premise sounds rather stupid to me.

Besides, novels with tons of pictures are for little kids, no matter how many boobs and floppy cocks are bobbing around in the sacred waters of the Fuck Pond.

If those tits are natural and young, they might sit as pictured.

But the whole thing looks very wooden.
Very stiff.

Give me some action pics.

Taking baths a lot makes sense in a contaminated ennvironment.

But not as a nudie-excuse.

I have an old issue of Heavy Metal that is almost the same as what I have seen.

C'mon. Be Creative!

The time it took me to click on the forum link had me thinking 'ooh, post apoc book, no wait, a comic.. this all sounds shit...' then I saw the screen shots.

There's enough porn out there dude without making your own.

I think I read somewhere that the program people use to make those 3d porn images recently included pornographic positions for their models. I suppose the programmers/artist were trying to be legit, but they obviously don't have any illusions about what people are using the program for.
