when you guys play games do you find knowing about guns helps give you an edge on the battlefield or not huh. Also, should we use mice to control guns in the future?

Sentry turrets maybe. IIRC the Israelis have some.

Robots shouldn't be given guns. Just swords and maces, but no guns.

Here's the beforebefore picture, along with my Hi-Power...

And then with all the new stuff that must also be fixed...

Got a new pistol grip, new forgrip and a new leather sling from a friend. Next order of business is to stain all the wood so it matches and doesn't look like a clusterfuck in gun form. I'll get around to that when I get around to it, problem is I'm a lazy guy so it could be a while. In the meantime, she stays ugly.

Sold Kel-Tec P11. Next gun will be either Kahr CW9 or XD 9mm 4", and I'm leaning towards XD, just because Kahrs don't have any external safeties.

Well you don't really need a safety on it since the CW9 is DOA. Not being an expert or even that interested in the XD series of pistols it looks to me like they have GLOCK trigger safety as well as a grip safety, but no manual saftey catch.

Of course I'd go with the XD personally because it beats the shit out of the CW9 in capacity.

I simply don't think external safeties are all that important on DOA and DA/SA pistols, on SAO pistols, like my Hi-Power, yeah, although I never use the damn thing because when I wear it in the hip holster it's got a retention strap that prevents the hammer from falling, and I simply don't carry cocked in holster on my back or if I carry Mexican Style. I'd be afraid of the saftey accidentally clicking off and I blow my ass off. I can't have that happen, I need my ass for like sitting and whatnot.

But to each his own I reckon.

Hehe, I was just talking to a friend who's looking to buy a GLOCK 30, so to fund it he's selling me his SIG P226 and CZ52. He wants $275 for the SIG, and it's in excellent condition! Even a beat up gun is worth like twice that. The CZ he wants $100 for and it comes with about one hundred rounds. So there goes my next couple paychecks I guess.

And good times were had by all.

For all intents and purposes, CW9 feels like single-action only. It's like a Glock without the trigger safety. My concern was about the light trigger, which is good when the gun is out and pointing at someone/something, but bad when it's in your pants and pointing at your genitalia. CW9 is light enough to carry in a pocket, but here's the rub - you NEED a holster for it, just like for Glock.

Duct tape doesn't make a good grip, it's too slippery. See the idea behind the rubber bands comes from when actual rubber grips weren't as common as they are today. Originally it was mostly cops that did it, and then the criminals (i.e. "swell guy") started doing the same thing.

The advantage to them is that that you can stick the gun in your waistband and carry it Mexican without fear of it slipping down your pant leg. The rubber bands grip to you and your skin. This used to be real popular with everyone, even cops, before there were all these million different types of holsters for every type of gun out there. The thing the criminals ("swell guy") liked best about the rubber bands was one can't leave their fingerprints on them. So after one gets done capping a punk-ass-bitch he could just drop the pistol with little fear of the pigs catching him, yo'.

I put them on my gun because the grip simply isn't comfortable, it's got some rough edges that sort of dig into your hand.
