A movie sequel nobody asked for

Post by Mad Max RW »

<strong>[ Film & TV -> Update ]</strong> - More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... itle=Night of the Comet">Film & TV: Night of the Comet</a>

<p>I heard about this several days ago and <a href="http://www.aintitcool.com/" target="_blank">Ain't It Cool
News</a> just confirmed it. A sequel to the 1984 B-movie
<strong>Night of the Comet</strong> is in the works. If you've never
seen it, the premise was Haley's Comet passes earth turning all living
things into a red ash. The only survivors are a handful of teens and
ravenous zombie vampire things. It's not worth checking out, but if
you're insane like me and have to see every post apocalyptic style
movie, then by all means feel free to torture yourself with a rent.

</p><p>Ain't It Cool has a <a href="http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=21173" target="_blank">press release</a> stating the original cast and
director are back for the sequel. There's a few quotes from Kelli
Maroney, the annoying cheerleader, who says some stupid things. She's
gotta be in her 40's now... Oh well, read it <a href="http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=21173" target="_blank">here</a>.

Juden untermensch! >:(

Don't we have enough shitty zombie movies as it is? Zombie movies suck ass anyway, why bother making sequels? Is it a new money laundering scam for the mafia? It's like 99% of all NEW movies that came out for the past two years were pure bile, but no - they have to resurrect OLD crap...

Someone tell me what's going on.

Sci Fi Channel showed it afew times. It's pretty horrible. It starred some guy who looked remarkably like the "jock" guy from Saved by the Bell, ofcourse that guy later became Chakotay from Voyager.

The movie is pretty generic actually despite some dicks claiming its some smart parody on B-Movies.

What? You better be joking, the jock guy from "saved by the bell" did not go on to be Chakotay from "Voyager". Lol man, your joking right?

Everytime I see a zombie eat someone or get it's head destroyed by massive impact, I get a flashback from Fallout. Decent amount of beer/whatever will blind you from loopholes in the script.

Don't watch that movie if you have even a slight hint of fever.

As for a sequal, isn't that the doctrine for contemporary film producers? I haven't seen anything original hit the theatres in like a decade.
I miss the good ol' USSA.

I said he just looked remarkably like him when he was younger.
