By far the most interesting post-apocalyptic title in progress (aside from Fallout 3, which we know little about) is <a target="_self" href="http://www.youareempty.com/">You Are Emtpy</a>,
a game that mixes a PA world with communist zombies. Combining
zombies and communism is the greatest idea for a video game in years
and so I recommend you all go and read the <a target="_self" href="http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/youar ... .html">new preview at Gamespot</a> based on E3 impressions.

I say again: this game features COMMUNIST ZOMBIES. That's just fucking awesome.

I've been keeping an eye on this game for a long time now, and while the style is certainly original and quality level apparently very high, nowhere did I find the description of an actual gameplay. Does it play like Half-Life, or Painkiller? Is it strongly story-driven, or free-form? Mystery...

Personally I would prefer Mormon zombies, but they wouldn't be much different from living Mormons. Oh fuck it, I want to shoot, stab, incinerate, eviscerate, maim and destroy Mormons. They deserve it for ruining all those Saturday mornings with their ever cheerful, incessant zeal for religious intolerance and general bigotry.

The graphics look better than Painkiller IMO.

Architecture is a look-alike, from what I can see, vids and screens don't do no justice. Besides, Painkiller looks awesome, most excellent rough, stalinist, John Wayne architecture. Made me feel like a man again.

obvious? Painkiller is much older, and besides it's Polish which obviously equals to its being worthless (myslef I really hated painkiller, I play FPS games but this was just far too silly and mindless)

Combining zombies and communism is the greatest idea for a video game in years

Painkiller was garbage. I had to force myself to finish the first episode and then gave up due to boredom.
