not another zombie movie...

hey that's a great title for a new one!

It should be about a world of zombies, which is suddenly infested with normal humans! And these mean humans all sport devastating weapons, and the zombies only have their teeth and nails...

oh wait... same shit...

Seriously though, do any of you enjoy the new zombie-flicks..?

Possibly the only redeeming quality about such films is the tendency for the entire cast to snuff it violently before (or sometimes just after) the credits. I can appreciate that, though even then, with sufficient repetition, it has become stale.

It was nice while it lasted. :drunk:

Yeah, it looks and sounds pretty cliche. Reminds me of alot of Resident Evil: Apocalypse too. Let's just hope the movie isn't as bad as the trailer.

Wasnt the music used in the trailor also used in the Resident Evil film?

The track is Marilyn Manson's Siezure of Power, from the first RE film...

I liked the trailer *shrug*

The whole concept of a leader-zombie weilding an assault rifle in one hand and breaking through walls says 'Lich' to me... And I like that O.o

Zombie movies are always good.
Braaaaaaaains!

... but I really hate John Leguizamo. Nothing against the actor himself, but his face, his characteristics.. I don't like him. When I see a movie with him, I feel like switching channels WEIRD-o!

The horror genre died with Chaney, Karloff and Lugosi.

Zombie movies are usually pretty fun, but the trailer was a bunch of compiled shit that didn't make sense.

Yeah, too many quick flashes. Where was the akimbo assault rifle waving zombie general?

The second Matrix had a pretty good trailer, too bad the movie sucked. Maybe there's a theory behind this, bad trailer = good movie, good trailer = shit movie?

I don't know, I've never seen anything enjoyable in the fast growing world of trailers. They always feel like the work of a braindamaged semi-genious, craving the flesh of innocent movie people.
Low budget flicks often have some watchable trailers, but usually they all fall apart at the 'change scenes 50 times so that no one gets a piece of the whole' part, which apparently some sort of crazed 'must have'.

You act as if theres been about 30 zombie movies in the past year.

Egh, trailors are generally shitty, but I really don't think "Horror movies? Rock Music!" is the best way to advertise your movie. On the other hand - they didn't reveal anything too indepth so the quick flashes are better then having to see the same scene/line over and over again and then hate it when the movie actually comes out.

I thought Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy had a fairly good trailor.

Goddamn zombie movies.

Here's my pitch: a workforce is required for PA reconstruction, so those
barrels of chemicals/whatever from Niight of the Living Dead are
rolled out of storage. Maybe instead of a brain fixation the zombies
insist on being deferred to as elders... always rambling on about
"the Good Old Days".
Then this rat offers them a chance to be reborn.

I can't wait. The trailer wan't great, but George Romero making a sequel to Day of the Dead hardly qualifies as just "another zombie movie".

I hate John Leguizamo as well, but Dennis Hopper does horror movies very well.

A game adaption is also coming out, which looks really good.

It doesn't look any different from Resident Evil, I'm sorry.
