Land of the Dead gets summer release

Post by Mad Max RW »

<strong>[Film & TV -> Update]</strong> - More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... tle=George Romero">Person: George Romero</a> | More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... title=Land of the Dead">Film & TV: Land of the Dead</a> | More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... l">Company: Universal</a>

<p><strong>George Romero</strong>'s third Living Dead followup,
previously slated for a Halloween debut, was moved four months earlier
to June 24th. Does this mean <a target="_blank" href="http://www.universalpictures.com/">Universal</a> believes the movie is so good that
it can compete with other supposed summer blockbusters? Or is it such a
festering pile the only way to make some cash is to release when the
crowds are hot? Either way, we'll be able to find out soon.</p><p>Please don't suck. But it probably will. </p>

I heard it's supposed to be awesome, but I can't remember where I heard that from.

4 months?? This movie seemed really rushed from the onset, but this is bordering on insane.

I've been against the movie from the onset since it wasn't filmed in the Pittsburgh area like its predecessors. So if it flops, it deserves to flop.
