I think that everyone at a very yourng age (5 to 9) does go thru a "the world doesn't flow my way, let's see how rotten they feel once I'm gone" stage.
Most of us wise up and figure out that if the world wants to be rid of us we might as well make it work for the payoff.

Once in a while I guess I do let my guard down... like the night I decided to watch the whole "Police Academy" marathon. I wished I was dead halfway thru that endeavor.

Same here. I don't get suicidal. I get homicidal. Nature's way of eliminating obstacles...all obstacles. Heh heeh heh heh...

Suicide is really stupid. Killing yourself goes against nature and the struggle to stay alive. No reason at all to do it. People kill themselves every day for completely abstract and made-up reasons. Why kill yourself over money or a relationship? It's all meaningless. Money is just paper. New relationships can be made.

Life isn't meaningless. Suicide is. It doesn't mean anything at all (other than they fact that you're an idiot and deserve to die). It's a way of showing off to everyone that you had the balls to do something incredibly stupid. It's a way of escaping "pain" into absolutely nothing. I would much rather live a tortured existence than to become nothingness.

Consciousness is awesome. Too many people take it for granted.

hmmm the best possible way one could commit suicide would be to ride a nuke down to ground zero laughing and swinging your hat wildly in the wind, thats the way i picture myself going

yeah ive thought about it once or twice, but i just keep telling myself it has to get better ...... right ?
