How many people here play fallout pnp? What do you, scrutinizing DAC readers, think about it? Just curious.

I'd like to play it, but I've never known enough interested people.

Try DAC Saloon. Though it's pretty empty right now, it still has some nice upliftingly surprising stories/quests. Well, maybe not as uplifting nor surprising, but roleplaying nevertheless.

uhh, what's that got to do with Fallout PnP?

Well it's a poor, lite version of Fallout-driven roleplay isn't it? It has *something* to do with PnP :P

Same goes for me, the only person I've met in the last few years who was into PnP RPGs was an 20yr old kid I used to work with. I could of joined his group but after working all day with a bunch of teenagers I couldn't face socialising with more of them. : )

yes, other teenagers tend to make me angry with their ignorance and drunken, hormonal antics. even though I am one myself. if you want to play, I suggest you check a pnp message board...

I've read the rulebook, and it's good, but I've never had a chance to play and I doubt I could ever get my group interested.

I've never played it. Are there any icq versions?? It would be cool to play it on icq occasionally when you can get enough of a group to play.

Nah, I think it needs to be more or less real time in the sense that every one is actively involved at the same time. Also the game master should have the ability to introduce maps or pictures and give narratives. Anyway if someone is doing a game like that or wants to get one going, count me in.

Well, theres a group of people that would like to play on IRC its easier becausew you can use dice bots to role in game and you can send people maps and stuff. The falloutpnpforums are here
http://members.lycos.co.uk/fopnp/phpBB2/index.php
you can post to your hearts content.
P.S. I'm not trying to harp my forums over your my wise and learned freinds (or are you?

DAC Saloon doesn't actually use rules. You just say "I'm a BOS paladin with a power armor, twenty-eight plasma rifles and a tank! Oh no, they shot off my leg!" And a forum-based using rules would really work, I think.
