hey, i figured out how to use GTK radiant without tutorials, and thats like drinking water with a fork

could we...

*When you finish fallout 1 you can still go around?

*Mabye extend the map of fallout 2 and add the fallout 1 towns and citys?

*'Fix' Broken hills (no humans)

*Make it so ghouls dont attack you in gecko (they do to me)

*Edit the deathclaw speech in fo2?

*Get rid of aliens and replace them with deathclaws or something?

*Fix other stuff, and mabye edit the npcs in fo1

I would replace Aliens with roaches if possible. Btw, it's been a long time, but I don't remember Ghouls in gecko attacking me. I followed the good path though, so that might play a role in NPC reactions(and probably does).

Yes but this would basically mean to port Fallout1 to use the Fallout2 engine... Something interesting but too massive an undertaking

This is possible albeit you'd ether have to use the old maps or make new ones, but what's worst is that the "main map" would need to be smaller to cover a greater area, which means walking to other areas would be "faster".

Huh? I mean if there were no humans in Broken Hills there'd be no quests! The whole story around the town revolves from the friction btween humans and Mutants. Well apart from those stupid talking plant and radscorpions quests and the errand for the bottlecaps...

We can already do that with the decompiler TeamX and friends came up... Without it thogh you can still fiddle with speech as long as you have a dat extractor.

Not really. No one ever undertook the creation of new sprites (other then weapons and GUI elements that is). So well, it could be possible, but it's a massive undertaking AND the editor doesn't include tools to create sprites as far as I know.

See the first answer and also the part about deathclaw speech... Note that we can still fix FO1 stuff without "porting" it to FO2.
