sometimes i think about it and i'm not really sure you know, like whats art! yo!
i think its an expression of Being, done with intention, serving no other purpose than the expression itself.
so pretty much anything
could be wrong tho
"fan art" on the other hand is scribbling some shit that resembles some bullshit in a game,
noything wrong with that, it's the same thing really, just looks a bit worse, as an imitation of an imitation should

Something that stirs the emotional centers of the brain. That doesn't inherently make it "good," but it should at least make it worth seeing. A problem with lots of art with me is that it has low amounts of effort put into it. Classical art was a test of skills, even going up to the golden age of animation, that was art, true art that tested the very boundaries of their respective mediums. One of my favorite pieces of art is a Picasso where he dissects the form of a bull, slowly breaking it down to the barest of components and still being able to understand what it is. The distillation of the essence of a bull. Raw talent, that is.

Some people take a shit with paint onto a canvas and call that art, but to me it needs to be a perfect mixture of effort and skill to properly convey a message or something. That's what art is to me. It doesn't have to be pretty, but it needs to have something of substance in it.
