Which raises the question; didn't they have gold coins back in the day. I thought that was the whole deal with coins.

The battery and lye method seems very effective however I wonder if the use of an ultrasonic cleaner and a solvent would be of any help with the coins? Just a thought, I happen to use one at work and they're pretty handy hey. Also my favourite one so far is the triangular one, you should look into it more. Might hold some magical powers you never know, you might be able to wrest a spell out of it still.

Hehe yeah I also like the triangle, it does have a magical feel to it, a bit disappointed that the back side didn't reveal anything cooler, iI was hoping for more clues.

I have thought about getting an ultrasonic cleaner, might be a while in the future though.
