The clothing thing is a good point - but to his credit - he is a survival expert. Plus. If he was gonna die of hypothermia from the swim, I imagine it would have affected him long before he reached the wolf's den. I mean, he spends a bit of time on the rocks cursing god and then more time hiking and fucking around with wallets. His core temperature had enough time to drop at that point and although one could argue that he's experiencing paradoxical undressing, he doesn't exhibit any other sign of hypothermia and doesn't go into "hide and die" mode. Additionally - his clothes are dry at the end. He probably had another pair in the bag he had, which if you also noticed - was dry as it had all the wallets inside that were untouched.
