Ah, right. So you don't think the conversation went "Oh yeah, we can settle for a few million so you guys don't come out of this with a flat-out loss, but we want all of Fallout. No outs"? Pay attention, bro. This was such a Hervean thing to do right here.

If you think $2 million is a good sell price for the rights to FOOL and classic Fallouts, then well icon_dance

And that's that. So much for Fallout. Anybody know a good franchise to follow nowadays?

There was no more hope for the franchise even when interplay had the MMORPG license. Nothing has changed.

What Obsidian needs is an exterminator in their studio because man are they infested with tiny (and large) six legged critters. Something tells me that Tim Cain is no one man BUG KILLER.

But just imagine how whimsical unkillable Wright children running around and defeating the Master with such well-written dialog choices as "You should kill yourself, you're an abomination!" would be.

Those two are the only games I can think of with a high level of story reactivity since the 90s.

Obisidan's New Vegas was the best they made probably. I played Mask of the Betrayer and that was good too but the whole NWN set up is pretty poopy, but so was new vegas.

Alpha Protocol was okay except when you actually had to shoot something and traverse a level, which was a majority of the game.

You have to think about things and make informed choices. You would hate it.
