DAC should be invite only.
Or rework the registration, so that a mod has to CONFIRM a registration by hand - this might be tedious, but with a bunch of new mods specially for this purpose this could work. Could.
This would be the best way to avoid Cakester and his spam bots.
Or maybe create a random number generator that shows numbers for confirmation in a manner color blind people can't see. It's a bit unfair towards the non-retarded colorblind people out there, but they can write the admin in case they REALLY feel left out.
Or make DAC a paysite. Nobody would pay for it, but it'd deter trash. Or at least allow KoC to earn a few bucks extra by milking Cakester('s poor parents that already suffer enough).
Or cut his fucking hands off.

I've asked KoC if I could be a mod but he never really responded either. He gives me news posting powers but no mod powers for whatever reason. If i saw spambots I would ban them faster than you could blink an eye at. |
