what's with gas stations and greek myths? I used to work for shell (it fuckin sucked balls) and on my paychecks it would always say "Cerberus Corp." or whatever I can't remember

the article's still trying to wank off the strategy guide. one question: why would one buy a strategy guide that has every location, every little detail? wouldn't that ruin the game while conjointly putting you out 200 bucks or whatever outrageous price they charge for that pile of firestarter. [/semi drunken rant]

anyway apart from that, the info the dude is tellin us sounds interesting, thanks doc

Strategy guides cost $20. I've owned two in my life time, the one that came bundled with Total Annihilation and the Fallout Tactics one because it cost $2 when they were trying to get rid of it.

I think these days, strategy guides rely on the average console gamer being too stupid to look on the internet if they have a question.

Or wanting a paper copy without having to shell out ridiculous money for ink cartridges. I would imagine a great deal of people don't have much convenience with simultaneous computer use/console play or understanding of ALT+TAB.

Sadly, I am most certainly playing the game. I really don't think it'll be too bad but then again I think of Fallout 3 and realize what a wasted mess of "software" that piled up to be.

But I really think this one will produce more. I unfortunately have the heart for optimism, though vague.

Disfavour this side usually shows in more gloomy tones, oh superficial spectacle of favourism.

theres that option, too.

point though.. why pay money for a guide, or leave yourself logged into the bault or other places?

Not that it wont be easy without it but i am anticipating things like this:
"thes game is so easy (with the strategy guide)"

Why pay any money for any of this shit when L4D2 is like $7?

Cos L4D2 sucks? Now granted, I've only played the Australian version, but I can't see how it could be any more thrilling regardless of the severed limb content.

Don't think I've ever gotten bored of a game I would consider "decent" upon first contact any quicker.

Oh right I suppose we're supposed to count any Bethesda title when you know that's a given in any case, my bad.
