Didn't actually do anything for the holiday. Usual party at my unc's house was canceled, so my whole July 4th mentality was kind of gone before it had even began. |

I got a meat grinder on my birthday. And a sausage class I will attend in january. Then I'll make my own sausages and host a sausage-fest.
I did make burgers with the grinder. They were decent enuff. |

You should make saucisson and mail me some.
I made two handsome lasagnas yesterday : both had a traditonal tomato sauce, with a layer of thin sliced zucchinis, ricota, a béchamel sauce, and mozzarella cheese, but both had different meat stuffing : one had lamb, sage, portobellos, the other one had italian sausages cooked with onions, arugula and red wine. |
