So I had the urge to play it again after the nice release of ambient music Koc had on the frontpage.
My version is 1.00 but when trying to patch it with the uk patch 1.02 so I can try the high rez patch on it the patch keeps crashing.
The game works fine other than that.
Also, what mods should I get? I tried the restoration mod once... not a big fan of it. |

Try the US patch? The problem I had on Windows 7 was that all the colours were fucked up. Solution: close down your windows explorer and then run the game. |

try killap's unofficial fo2 patch, i think you don't need to apply the official patch first and it should work with sfall/high res |

The best solution I've had for the discoloration was to alt+tab and keep changing windows until it goes away on its own. Usually takes one or two times. |

If my PC was 12 years old it would still be able to play fallout 2 on maximum.
quick ed: Killaps patch seemes to be working.
Im doing a melee fighter this time.. never done that before. |

use the high rez patch, you can set the colour to 16 bit. |
