District 9 finally

Talk about music, movies, TV, books, other types of entertainment and what your vices are. Also, if you're addicted to the high you get off Aspirin, this is the place to talk about it.

District 9 finally

Post by cazsim83 »

references apartheid blah blah blah

great premise, started out engaging, interesting, had lots of foreshadowing.

somewhere around halfway through the plot holes allowed the story (and the suspense) to fall through the floor into the bottom of the outhouse trough.

by the end of the movie gave it 2 of 5 stars on netflix rating.

what a pile of shit movie - as has Peter Jackson been besides Lord of the Rings (fucking King Kong, anyone?)

I was also a bit disappointed with the ending but I didn't think it was that bad (the movie and the ending.)

I liked the majority of it, but it was very predictable. I'd like to see a second installment.

I liked it. The story did indeed get lost at the ending. But it's not like the main character could just keep running for the entire movie, so they had to end it somehow. And I think the ending at least gets your attention which is what movies are supposed to do.
Ew... ghoulification...
