Bethesda begins European invasion

[ Company -> Update ] - More info on Company: Bethesda Softworks

Bethesda is expanding its empire overseas after opening offices in Germany and France. The offices currently house marketing and finance teams. <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/2830 ... >Gamasutra reports:

Bethesda Softworks is getting two new European offices. The Rockville, Maryland-headquartered ZeniMax subsidiary announced today it will add facilities in Frankfurt, Germany and Paris, France.

The offices will house sales and marketing teams responsible for the areas in which they're located. Two new hires have been appointed as general managers of each office: Frank Matzke for Germany and Julie Chalmette for France. Both held roles at Vivendi prior to joining Bethesda.

Bethesda Softworks Europe managing director Sean Brennan called the European offices "a very exciting moment for Bethesda Softworks," noting the upcoming launches of Fallout: New Vegas, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, Brink and Rage
under its umbrella.
"Frank and Julie’s extensive knowledge of their territories will help us to maximise and deliver upon these titles’ potential," Brennan said.

Good luck with Germany, Beth.
From what I hear, the censorship laws are ridiculously strict and 90% of the voice actors make Fallout 3's look as vivid as Dan Rather.
