not having Gambling(or cocaine & strippers) Las Vegas is like Detroit not having Cars
so if they dont have Gambling in New Vegas i will lose all faith in Obsidian |

Technically the cars still exist, but the only ones unaffected by nuclear EMPs (as far as I know) would be standard, pre-electrical component combustion vehicles. With some chemistry work, you could probably concoct some type of fuel from waste, alcohol, etc. that would substitute for gasoline. I think that, had Tactics been granted more production time, they would have been able to flesh that out to a point where the level of explanation made it fair to include working vehicles.
As far as gambling goes, Sammy, there wasn't any gambling in Fallout 3 and the gambling skill itself was removed from the available skills. Suffice to say, what you're saying is obvious.

I'm not looking for any real specific thing. More story and greater depth, but since its going to be a FPS I hope they improve upon the shooter parts, I don't want to always rely on VATS. |
