One thing I always wanted in the original campaign was a greater control of the starting squad. (granted you could use the editor to start with whatever squad you wanted, but that requires work everytime you want a different squad.) So, in about a week or so I whipped up a little prologue mission 'mission00 - the Recruiting Camp' that takes place just before Brahmin Wood.

Rather than let the player choose his squad directly via the recruit pool, I decided to forgo this in favor of a system where you are assigned a specific squad based on decisions you make in and around the Camp.

There will be a half dozen or so different squads available for the different personality types a player might want to play as.

And of course you can always take the tried and true original squad of Stitch and Farsight...

Wow, November 2005, that's almost 4 years, that's a lot longer than I thought this would take. Again I apologize for the speed at which this MOD is being built. But again, remember that this is a one man operation, so if I had a four man team then I suppose it would've only taken one year to get this far. In light of that, I don't feel that I'm really doing that badly. (considering that I am the only Tactics Mod still alive.)
Vaporware? Nope, the Mod is real. I've already built enough original content to justify an 'AS IS' release even if I ever abandon the project. So no matter what something will be released.
As of late, I've been working on the Alkida plotlines, Here's a few screens.

While your waiting for this thing, I hear that there's some DLC for Fallout 3... |

Heh the PS3 is not getting the DLCs for Fallout 3 as of yet
I spent my money on a PS3 and widescreen TV instead of upgrading my computer so it will probably be another year before a computer upgrade.
I would love to download as is and do a play test. |
