raider camp corrupts saves?(fallout 1)

Is there a bug that corrupts saves in the raider camp?every time I save there I get an error when I try to load it.

Also i tried to save over the corrupted save and it crashed my pc.

Well, my experience with corrupt saves is that the save is permanently lost, so you might just delete it from the save game folder.

There's a number of occasions where the game crashes, but I can't really pinpoint a reason to why a save becomes corrupted. It just happens occasionally.

I remember this time I was watching porn after having alt-tabbed Fallout 2, and suddenly my mom came in while I was saving and at the same time alt-tabbing back to my porn; the apparition caused my toe to press the button on the powerbar to cut the power so my mom would not see the porn. Sadly, Fallout wasn't finished saving and my game file was corrupt. From this day I started using at least 2 save slots.

But, yeah, basically what VasikkA said: the savegame's gone for good, hope you've got another save? Because if it seems to always get corrupted when saved there, you must've "b0rked" the game somehow but the only shown symptom is the inability to save in that specific location.

You could just use a work-around by not saving there..?
