<strong>[ Game -> Update ]</strong> - More info on <a href="#Fallout 3">Game: Fallout 3</a>

<p>Contrary to what <a target="_self" href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/forums/viewt ... 2008">Pete Hines said about the DRM with Fallout 3</a> (or the supposed lack thereof), many gamers are having serious issues with SecureROM on their systems. Luckily, there appears to be <a target="_self" href="http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index ... =892715">a workaround</a>. Bethesda Game Studios Forums</a> have posts from many users unable to install
Fallout 3, who are apparently being told by customer service reps that they need
to uninstall any third-party CD-writing software to be able to run the game.

another forum post for those who have SecuROM issues</a> with workaround
instructions and a pointer to the

where there's a replacement launcher for Fallout 3, as well as a replacement
launcher for <strong>Far Cry 2</strong>.</em> indicates that this has turned out to be an exaggeration at
best, saying the game ships with SecuROM version 7.36.0006, and notes the

Nope, but then, the version I'm getting already has the BS removed, so it should be all good :D

It hard crashed my system every time I tried to run the game.


Turns out that it didnt like Alchol 120 that I had installed and never used.


With all those hard crashes however it did corrupt my windows and I was forced to go back to a previous install ... Thanks securom
