so a simple hand wave
and a how the hell are ya,
ain't all that's required by the social contract.
In my Wonder Years found a deck of playing cards.
Shy of 52, even with jokers, so not treasured for solitaire.
Back side was a cartoon wolf in a Zoot Suit.
Face side featured a 4 color glossy pin up babe of the previous aesthetic generations.
'40- '50's hair styles and make up, big - big - BIG proud to meet you grins.
Several cards featured a raven haired beauty with the biggest, happiest grin of them all.
A few years latter, while trying to learn figure drawing from a book by Andrew Loomis,
got one of those 'inciteful' gifts: 'The Pin-Up: A Modest History'
So the bright smiling face had a name: Bettie Page.
These were deeply etched image acquisitions that transcended the temporal issues of adolescent ritualized hygiene.
So the pixilated mockery that was FO:BOS, could not obscure who was the epic iconic full frontal figure that inspired the boss bitch.
