More fun with fonts

Post by Kreegle »

<strong>[ -> N/A]</strong>

That wacky mad-scientist, Red, got all jealous when he saw the <a href="http://www.duckandcover.net/#1026630170">previous font</a> being released - so he chipped in and donated his Fallout font as well! Good man, Red! <br><br>Here it is:<blockquote><a href="http://www.duckandcover.net/fallout/fil ... enter><img src="http://www.duckandcover.net/news/previe ... uote>Looks good. Red also says:<blockquote><em>For "original look", to be used in 9pt, and NOT within graphic editors which do their own anit-aliasing (like Photoshop).</em></blockquote>You can pick up the font from <a href="http://www.duckandcover.net/fallout/fil ... f">here</a>. Cheers Red!

Yeah, but you get artifacts when you do that a bit like the current DaC layout...

For that matter the layout was made using my font, only whoever did it didn't know how to render my font properly, hence it looking ass...

As an additional note, this is supposed to be th 1.12 version for anyone who donwloaded a previous version either from the BIS boards or the now defunct vault13 boards.

Note that the 1.12 version has the "C" fixed as it was missing a pixel.

It "Looks" normal, however if you zoom in, you'll notice the pixels aren't as perfect as could be.

It was designed to use the algorithm provided by the Windows anti-aliasing (turned on in the Display properties).

Yeah, it looks great, however the font is supposed to be anti-aliased... As soon as you turn it on in Photoshop, the font screws up.

and GG, I sure hope your tried the v13 template in the forums?
