I still shed a tear when I think about what happened afterwards.
I nearly cried thinking that the dog died because Will Smith is too black for his own good.

I'm only skimming over this thread 'cause I hate spoilers, but I gather you're all not really impressed with iamlegend;

question is, despite not being great, is it worth the money to see it at the cinema, or should I just get DVD/divx.
(I want to see it either way, I want to know how they made it and how it compares to the Omega Man)

Is anything worth seeing at the cinema? Depends on your preferences. There's really no spectacular effects that make it a must-see-at-cinema movie. I reckon you get easily as much out of it on DVD.

If you're comparing it to Omega Man, you'll find some annoyances. Neville played by Will Smith is different from Neville by Charlton Heston. But other than that, it's less B-movieish and more Men in Black-er than Ω man.

I'd say it does benefit from a cinema experience. There are some "Indoor scenes" that would definitely go down better on a huge screen with crazy surround sounds and such.

Didn't read the entire thread to see if this was mentioned yet, but a sequel is now in the works. Wow.

Want of more $, they'll make a sequel of anything if money can be earned. Epic Movie 2 is released later this month as well....it's just called "Meet the Spartans."

I wonder if it'll be called something inane like "He was legend."

Well, the movie ended in a shot of a colony/fort of some sort and not of a dying Will Smith, so I guess the producers decided to leave room for a sequel from the beginning. It was not like humans defeated the mutants and repopulated the planet TEH END.

The dog got it...why? Because the niggah was muscle and the dog not. He would have needed something like this puppy here:
