Hmm.. yes. It makes good business sense to invite douchebags and
notoriously negative sites to flame your product and get a free lunch +
drinks at your expense.

I take it you live in the back of a truck?

Actualy, if they had GOOD game footage to show, then inviting a US rep from NMA/DAC would be QUITE a good idea, cause if they can get OUR guys backing them, then they got fuckin gold.

Odds are tehy dont tho.

They know most people will buy the shit no matter how horrible it ends up..
And even if they dont invite a nma/dc "representative", if the game looks
good, they will get the support they deserve, regardless of wine-and-dine(tm). :lalala:

"Our guys"? DAC (at least) is one of the most anarchic forums in existence. Do you honestly think everyone would turn around and support BS simply because "our guys" say they're alright? The impression I get is that most of the people on this forum base their opinions almost entirely on the "showing of goods" rather than the words of any particular spokesperson of the forum.
Death to quotes.

Well it makes sense to invite people from DAC and NMA. We are the people that need to be convinced Fallout 3 is going to be good. When we keep getting left-overs from these sellout mainstream sites and mags, it gets frustrating.

I vote for Pooper and KoC to just go there and crash the party, and tell fart jokes about Pooper and his old man, and patriotism... that would be canon.

When I read that, my thoughts were "does he consider NMA to be our guys!?"

Are they?

Anyway, though Telemacus is new, he understands the ways of DAC; a true patriot he is. Salutes and Glory to Telemachus! Death and spanking to the false prophet PsychoSniper!
There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.

I'll be amazed if anyone from the fanbase get's anything. In the times we would have gotten frontseats, now we aren't even on the list. Then again, who wants milk and biscuits when you can have whiskey and hookers :drunk:
