stupid as anything

Hello, I bought Fallout Two day (mainly for the Black Isle Logo) and after playing for about half an hour I still can't find a way to open the door in the first area. The walkthroughs say something about a ceramic pot, but the only pot I found had healing powder in it? Any ideas??

You bought the game for the black isle logo? Cant you do a google image search for it?

The pot in question is in the exact same room as the door is. You get some plastic explosives from the pot.

Unless its the door which you need to use your lockpicking skills on, press two on your numpad and then press on the door. If you have enough skill it will open on the first try, otherwise... keep trying till you do.

Can someone please post a screenshot of the pot? Maybe my game's fucked I don't know, there are no pot's exept the one with the healing powder in it?

From the room with the big pit, head left. Use your lockpick skill to open the door. You'll see the pot. Look hard.

Right basically I come in the main room, kill the ants, unlock the door, to the left there is a room with a scorpion and nothing else, right there is the room with the pit and a pot containg powder, straight ahead is the locked door and room with some more scorpions.

Which room am I meant to be looking in?

buddy, there are several containers in the area, and the area is not at all that big. i might load up fallout 2 a little later and try and see what's giving you so much trouble, but i can't imagine why you can't figure this out.

Blow up the impenetrable door in the Temple with plastic explosives.
Some can be found in a pot/jar in the same section of the temple as
the door.

try lockpick (shortcut is 2 on the keyboard) and click on the door

Isn't the 1st door unlocked?

Hold down LMB on door and choose the hand icon to open the door.

There's a place with a cutaway area with statue faces in the floor.
This is what people were calling "the Pit".

Not all pots look the same. It's right there.
