To be honest, I'm a little disappointed with this. Go and check out the posts by Sander and Rosh over at NMA.

Edit: Ugh...there are even typos and grammatical errors. I'm sorry, but it's just not well written. It doesn't convey the Fallout history, setting, or theme well at all. For an example of better (but still not good) writing, please check out The History of the System Wars Part 1.

I urge you to consider rewriting the intro.

I also want to know why someone in Vault City, NCR, or Redding knows so much about the history of the wasteland and of the Vault Dweller. It makes no sense that someone from Redding knows anything about the Vault Dweller...and definitely not enough to write a whole expose on him.

Hey, NCR had even a statue of Vault Dweller.

I guess V.D. would be popular on the Wasteland, if even as a legend.

NCR had a statue of the Vault Dweller because he rescued Tandi and stopped the raiders. They also have vague stories about him stopping a great evil to the south. That's not quite enough for the detailed account from the document.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

They've got The Vault right on their proverbial doorstep yet apparently a lot of things are inaccurate... oh well. I know some people see me as a Bethsoft sympathiser, but they've repeatedly said they're using The Vault as they make FO3, so at least (hopefully) that'll be accurate. If it's not, they've got no excuse!

EDIT: well they probably do have an excuse if that turns out to be true: 'we don't care, you're not our market'.

*laughs*

Discrepancies and deviations born of inattention to, contempt for, canon. Canon, uncommon sense and the most basic tenets of language.

Surprise. :drunk:

Bethesda should just play through FO1 and 2 around 40 times or so. That should give them a little feel for the game.

I haven't been paying much attention to that Fd20 thingy, but I'd thought it's being made by some sorta F fans. Turns out they're just some clueless jerks? How bitterly ironic.. I thought only console games are fucked up like this. And their ports.
