10 favorite movies? HMMMMMM, let's see.

Mad Max 2: Road Warrior
Apocalypse Now: Redux
The Deer Hunter
Rambo: First Blood
Blade Runner
Cliffhanger
Taxi Driver
Aliens
Full Metal Jacket
Commando B)

Maybe they're not my 10 favorite movies, but those were the only ones I could think of.

Commando of course.

oldboy because its a good adventure
first blood because i could identify with the main character
groundhog day because i liked the scenario
american beauty as it's a summer time movie
blues brothers since blues brothers.

I don't know what else. I don't really like a movie as a whole, just some parts of it. Like the first bit of battle royale or the father-son talk in happiness. But only in the context do I like the parts, huh. Does the killing in bully have the same effect as if you just watched it by itself. or irreversible. well i dont know but i like those movies anyway okay just shut the fuck up

Well, if only for the soundtrack, C.R.A.Z.Y. rocks. But then add the acting, and the scenario, you've got an exceptionnal movie, in my mind.

As for Le Diner de Cons, I used to think it was only a funny movie, but after watching it numerous times, I've come to the conclusion that I could again watch the movie for an infinite number of times and still laugh from the beginning to the end of it. This movie is just too funny. I just love that guy, Juste Leblanc, who keeps laughing at Thierry Lhermite's character.

Yeah well, I haven't seen it in a long time, but I remember quite liking it. Ça joue avec ma corde séparatiste. I pretty much always like Luc Picard's acting.

Have you seen "Le Placard"? It's done by Webber too. I thought it wasn't as good as Le diner de cons, but still quite interesting.

As for Octobre, I can (somewhat D; ) understand your political beliefs, but the movie just is disappointing. I didn't feel the tension it was trying to instill to the viewer, the plot was just too slow.

I think you just like it for its plot, because its not a masterpiece. :susan:

Yeah I've seen Le Placard. It's pretty good but I've seen it like 3 times already and I wouldn't see it again. Sure it was good, but once you know what happens it's just not funny anymore. Veber's done incredibly shitty movie, too. I really dig his old stuff with Pierre Richard though.

Hmm, maybe I did like Octobre only for it's plot, much like 15 février 1839 D;

My previous neighbor used to be part of the FLQ and she was exiled to Cuba for like 15 years or something.
