PS: this one's actually finished, if you didn't figure it out by now. There's a trailer on the website as well, if the 300 Mb full movie is too much for ya.

No, only in Quebec and certain parts of other provinces. Both are official languages of the entire country, but Albertans (where Alberta = Texas North) don't bother with French. There are, however, parts of Ontario and (I think) Manitoba where French speaking communities exist.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Lower Ontario has multiple french speaking comunities.

We end up learning french through public and part of highschool.
Not that I was any good at it.

Well, sure, and I had six years of Spanish classes. I still can't speak the damn language.

EDIT: I believe New Brunswick has a lot of Frenchies. One or another of the Maritime provinces does.

How much nominated movies were there, 2? D;
Kashluk

Post by Kashluk »

Um, a little error there... It wasn't nominated in "Findie" movie awards... Findie is a Finnish independent movie distribution network, but the nomination took place in "hobby moviemaker's championship", youngster series 2005. Apparently. I'm not sure how many movies there were, a few dozen propably?
