Fallout 3 at E3

Post by Mr. Teatime »

<strong>[Game -> Images]</strong> - News related to <a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/archives.php?topstory=9">Top Story: Fallout 3 Teaser at E3</a> | More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... le=Fallout 3 (Bethesda)">Game: Fallout 3 (Bethesda)</a>

<p>Seems <em>Fallout 3</em> is present at E3 in some small form. We've
known about this for a day or so but weren't sure whether to post it up
until Bethsoft gave out some more info - seems <a href="http://pc.ign.com/articles/614/614886p1.html" target="_self">IGN beat us anyway</a>. It's not much, just a poster, but looks OK to me.</p><p>I don't think there's anything more than this at E3 related to the game, from what I've gathered, but that could be wrong.</p><p><em>Edit by King of Creation</em>: Here's the poster. Very DACish<img width="15" height="15" border="0" src="../../forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" />.

Argh...I was really hoping to post this before any other website picked up on it. Oh well, wasn't sure it was alright with Bethesda.

Actually, it's probably tres expensive, but that's what you get as big gaming site.

But let's be honest, it's not very big news. It's good because it shows a sign of life on Fallout 3, which is always good, but as the whole E3 display seems to consist of *a poster*, it's nothing to get all wild about.

Plus it's funny to see that IGN has no clue that it's limited to the poster, they're all excited and shit!

"I guess that means we'll be seeing it in a few days. Two words: SUH WEET!"

Rawk on IGN!

PS: this poster makes for an uglier Fallout 3 logo than the BIS one. 's true

Well, we don't know that it's the logo. It is just a teaser poster after all.

Yeah, it probably isn't, looks too simple for it.

Nothing to flame about so far, either. Apart from the fact that they STOLE DAC'S DESIGN.

Dude, sue them every way from Sunday!

Though I'm actually pretty sure you can't *steal* the radioactive logo. Heh.

What did you expect, gun-totting half-naked chicks in skimpy leather totting miniguns twice their size and a zombie corpses strewn around them, with a nuclear explosion looming in the background?

It's a good sign. They could have pimped it out with thong wearing bitches. That's the herve way of getting interest. But they didn't. They kept it simple, and also, they called it FALLOUT 3. It's a sequel to the first games, and it's proud. Not replacing the name with a crappy subtitle (Deus Ex 2 style), again for more pimpage. So, the little we can take from this poster, is good.

"Fallout 3: A Sequel To Fallout And Fallout 2" would be the win. You know, the target audience might get lost otherwise... khe khe...

khe khe is not kekeke, but I admit that kekeke would fit the sentence better.
