Large White Mole Rat

Post by grapedog »

Early on in the game you come up against a large white mole rat as one of the creatures in Trappers Woods of Klamanth, the first city after Aroyo...has anyone tried talking to it before? When I first saw it and got my mouse over it, it had the dialogue option(the mouth), but upon moving towards it with and without sneak, it attacks. Just curious if anyone has found any dialogue withh it?

As far as I know you cannot talk to Keeng Rat. You get the little dialouge option with every living thing but it doesn't mean you can talk to it/them.

Yeah the ladder down is in the Junkyard section of Gecko and he will give you advice and a medallion. And he has a bunch of brain washed ghouls also.

I feel i have a duty to reply to this thread :)

And i don't think you gain +300 karma for killing the two fat rats. You gain some good karma by killing Keeng Rat though, but i don't know how much, if any you get for wasting The Brain.

I never noticed the all living things get the dialogue option, perhaps thats only from a distance. I was hovering it over rats and mole rats and none of them had the dialogue. Perhaps it was just his model because his brother in Gecko is able to talk.

No, not really, some don't.

All have descriptions however, though sometimes this description can be erroneous.

That's true... I hate all those erronous descriptions, I've even had a rat called a molerat and vice-versa, especially in the random encounters... :?

I just quickly entered the game and checked a Brahmin, and then a gecko and they both had the dialogue option, so i just assumed they all had it.

I don't think i've ever seen a rat refered to as a mole rat though.

NO ONE, NOT EVEN A FARKING HIGE ALBINO RAT TAKES MY CHEEZY POOFS FROM ME! unless of course, they have gone stale.

Yet another pop culture reference. Sometimes I wonder if the only point of making a sequel was so that they could make jokes about Scientology and put milions of pop culture references in. Perhaps it should have been called Sim Easter-Egg.
