Problem playing Fallout Tactics

Like Tactics? Found a cool mod for another game that reminds you of Fallout? Playing those crappy spin-off console games called "Fallout"? Discuss here.

Problem playing Fallout Tactics

Post by SeanDMan »

Since the last time I played I have installed a secondary hard drive, which now occupies drive D, formally my CD rom drive. It no longer will work, in either drives E or F. Is there a way to get around this, other than a crack (which I really don't want to use)? If there isn't, is there anything you would suggest as a longshot? Thank you in advance.

I'm at work right now but isn't there a .ini-file you can modify?
Or make a backup of your save-game file and re-install.
Kindly,

Probably. Tis what I'm hoping for.

D:\Program Files\14 Degrees East\Fallout Tactics\core\cd.cfg would be what you are looking for in your case.

Use notepad to open cd.cfg, and where you see:

{cdPath} = {M:\\}
{installType} = {full}

switch M with the name of your CD drive.
