Thanks. Its downloading right now.

I read over some stuff about the game, and the classes seem weird. Remids me of 1st edition dnd with the dark elf and wood elf classes. Still, they seem nice enough. Its about time a game had horses in it.

Damn, in this day and age of accessible graphics software lighting tools, there's no excuse for artwork to look this flat and lifeless...ugh.

Anyway, you guys tell us how it is, K?

Cheers :)

I thought the graphics looked pretty damn good in the screenshots, nice big and clear sprites. If it runs good then its a uber + with me. How pheonix coming along?>

Hey hey hey! We'll have none of that here! Diablo and its sequel is the shizzle mo bizzle! *chuckle*

Seriously though, I just bought the first Diablo game for a whole 10 dollars, and it is well worth it. Very good game, despite it having mid 1996 graphics (ugh), and not the best savegame system in the world. But from playing it, I can see how good the improvements are in the sequel, and it makes me better appreciate them.

How about you?

The best thing Diablo 2 has going for it is the "random prefix/suffix" generation system on the magic/rare items. It allows EVERY random magic item you find to have a possibility to be excellent. All too often, late in RPG's I find myself basically ignoring every item I see on the ground.

The magic drops arnt that great until you're in Late Nightmare+ or got a bunch of Magic Find shit. Eitherway, there's still a majillion 'broken shield' and 'rusty sword' items all over that you still ignore.

Either way, Diablo 2 is fun. *llama_god on USWest Ladder, y0. 54 Amazon.

Yeah, a lot of games would be better off with more random item generation, or more specifically, random generation of weapons worth using. Sacred looks ok, and like Diablo it might be fun to play on LAN. But with so many more quality games out there, I doubt I would ever get around to playing it.

Diablo is fun, yes, for like a month.

It's so goddamn repetitive, the graphics are bad, every act the new monsters are reskinned models of the previous act. It's a click-fest, the game is ruined by those swell guy playing 10 hours a day, and after you won the game at Normal difficulty there's no point in playing again except to go :"0MG I G0T 22 SOJ".

I even know a guy who sold for 1250$ US of items on Ebay. People sucks.

And those goddamn black pygmees in the third act are a FUCKIN PAIN.

My friend visits Diablo World forums, and he showed me a link to Ebay where a guy bought one of the new items for $950, lol.

It doesn't look terrible.

Though graphics are important, I give excuses if the gameplay is good.
