Wasteland 2042 released!

Well... has anyone played it? I'm downloading as we speak. Personally I'm not a big fan of battlefield's engine, but hey, if the mod comes off well, then chalk up another game I'll waste my days away in.

It is definately awesome. It's great having limited ammo, beat up cars, and spiked baseball bats. The levels are really good and the music adds a lot.

The only thing I dont like is the cheesy punk rcker skins for players.

The punk rock skins make me laugh. I like the pink mohawk. It looks pretty good, and Im looking forward to playing it on LAN. What would be really awesome was if we got someone with a good connection to host a DAC game sometime.

I played for a few minutes. My friend was running kazaa on his computer so it was laggy as hell, but it looked really nice. I loved watching a gyrocopter go screaming over my head and unleashing molotovs on an approaching car.

Sounds good, but I must admit - vehicle manslaughter in UT2004 is pretty fun atm.
