Maybe. I'll have to wait and see what the critics say.

Maybe. I'll have to wait and see what Mr. Sock says. What's that, Mr. Sock? It's a great movie? Well, I'm off to the multiplex, then!

I'll watch it, but it doesn't look great. Seems like a pretty weak movie to me.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

That's one of the movies I'm going to wait to see on HBO or Showtime.

It's one of the movies I'd see on Mystery Science Theater 3000, if it was still around.

I meant if it was still in production, and as far as I know, it isn't.

I don't know--it's got a lot of things that'll piss me off. I have a hard time believing either Vivica A. Fox or Lucy Liu are "badasses", and Uma Thurman's swinging that katana around like it was a fucking baseball bat. At least it's got an actress from Battle Royale, one of the better movies made recently.

lucy liu always looks cross-eyed to me, though asian people kind of freak me out anyway, except old men with crew-cuts that smile a lot.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Seems to be just a mindless action movie, nothing more. And I don't think it's going to try to be anything more, which is good.

Most of you may be too young to remember the original Kung Fu series, so let me enlighten you: David Carradine sucks the life out of pretty much any movie he's in.

I'll be skipping this one 'til I can borrow someone's DVD. This although I must confess tht the concept of a one-eyed Daryl Hannah has me intrigued.

A one eyed Daryl Hannah? Hmm...I might actually have to go check this out then.

My ole lady and I've been going through actors and watching 3 of their movies every weekend. We've done Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Paul Rubens, Tom Hanks, Robin Williams, and Steve Guttenburg.......There are a few Steve Guttenburg movies that take care of the Dary Hannah thing...So maybe we'll go see this movie just to cover another base.

Uma Thurman gets her brains blown out in the first minute of the film. It can't be all that bad.

You realize she survives, right?

And where is the "hidden teaser" on the japanese site? I'm having a bit of trouble navigating that site :P

The movie starts at the end like a lot of Tarantino films. At least that's according to one of the recent private screenings for the press.

She gets shot in the head but survives, and then goes on a huge two-part revenge spree against her former employer Bill, and the members of the assassin squad he leads.
