Try a little program called Virtual PC, it comes with windows. I ran fallout2 on mac with that program since they never ported FO2 to mac. IIRC fallout only requires windows 95, which to my knowledge costs abundantly less than the newer versions.

FO3 was a big glossy piece of eye candy. The game relys too heavily on skills and not enough on core stats. Strength is dumbed-down to only 10 pounds of equipment more per point. Perception is worthless because it does not effect your shooting ability. Charisma is worthless because the skill checks ...
