Interplay is in a finanicial death spiral. Their revenues are falling because they only released one gold master in 3Q, 2003, and sales from their back catalogue of older games is declining because they have fewer games going into the back catalogue because of their downsizing. As noted they are loo...

What's really funny is you can do everything to save Necropolis on a timely basis. But you can still go there after the time period and find the mutant army there, having wiped out everything. But you still get the good ending if I remember correctly, LOL! That said, I always save Necropolis, then g...

Thanks for the answer. Too bad you can't do this - seems like it would have been perfect for a non-combat type. I could see getting away with persuading him, but he'd eventually figure it out, then send someone after you :)

Can you lie to Decker and fool him?

In the Hub, Decker, the crime overlord will give you a couple of assassination missions. My question, if you have high enough speech, chaisma, can you fool him into believing that you killed Hightower or the CoC priestess? Never heard anyone say they've done this, but I'm curious if this is possible...

I really want to like this mod, but the "realism" ended up just killing me, literally, time after time again. After reloading for the nth time because of blindness or a crippled leg (all early in the game before I could even come close to getting a decent doctor skill) I gave up. They did ...

the brc computer adds the location "holy grounds" after you visit holy grounds you should get the vault back on your map. Nope, just went and checked, no "Holy Grounds" after the BCR blew up - instead I got a military base and New Chicago. I loaded up a savegame from before and ...

Two things I don't like

Quests are well done, the game seems very "Fallouty". That said, I have two complaints, all around one word - "realism". The damage has been doubled for weapons. Sorry, that unbalances the game IMO. Why should I try targeted shots now? The "Fastshot" perk/attribute is t...

Well, Grey Ghost, while your language is quit figurative, it's not very specific or very helpful. Nor does it answer his question either which asked for what you liked, not what you didn't :). That said . . . I like the artwork. The increased resolution was great, animations were good. I like the ve...

Pyro,can you read

Pyro, did you even read the post? He quite clearly said that due to IP's financial problems, they've had to get out game with very short development cycles - so unless you want Fallout 3 to be a piece of junk, they'll need longer than a year. It's poor finances that have delayed Fallout 3 - they nee...

You know, threads like this are totally stupid. You guys scream for Fallout 3, and yet continue to do nothing but rip the company that can make it. If I were Black Isle, I'd never touch Fallout again - they'll never please the self annointed "diehards", yet Fallout isn't enough of a mass m...

I didn't mind the Sci-Fi. However, the fact that I had to exploit the game to beat an Alien Queen because of it's compulsory damage interupts was dumb. Well, you could play without sci-fi. e the swarming nature of AI enemies. I found the best tactic was to set my guys up in good cover positions, fi...

Can't blame Reflexive . . .

For example, I can recall purchasing a game from Activision and Reflexive called "Star Trek Away Team" because the packaging proclaimed repeatedly that it was a "strategy" game. To me, "strategy" means "turn-based action," and I even grilled the guy at the so...
