Sept. 11 and the War on Terror: Bullshit or Patriotism?
I happened to be reading a web page that was talking about Sept. 11. I've noticed that in a LOT of opinions, people are either unbelievably patriotic or the believe that America is a genocidal dictatorship and that we are commiting huge amounts of atrocities. I want to see what you all think of Amer...

Perfect Weapon? For Game or Real Life? For Game, it would be one that you could build from the ground up, adding whatever if you have skill and parts and it is compatible with other parts. As for real life, I'd like to see the cartridge for the .270 lengthed, with tungsten cored rounds, firing throu...

Re: LOL
[quote="Kashluk]Why are you saying that god doesn't exist and religions are ridicilous? We've been over this in old topics already, but I'll say this again: if 95% of the world population believe in a higher being, it's pretty fucking obvious that either you're wrong or then homo sapiens isn't ...

Ah, thats what I like to see... Anyway, since religion is based on faith, if God was proved to exist or not, wouldn't that destroy the basic idea of religion? If we proved he didn't exist, then religion would come to a close If we proved he did, then there would be no use for faith because we would ...

As long as any countries exist where guns can be legally purchased, it'll cause problems for the UK. When was the last time someone that killed someone in your country came all the way to the US, did the background checks, AND GOT THE GUN BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY in order to kill someone... I don't kno...

More Controversy: Views on Religion
Well, since I love controversial subjects, this is probably one of the best I can think of. I want to know what you all think of religion. Please, no flame wars/name calling/etc. I want this to go, because I really want to know what everyone thinks. My personal view is that religion mainly keeps the...

This is pathetic. Tell me, why do you need all these guns? They're killing-instruments for crying out loud!!! I can accept hunting-rifles or sports-guns/rifles, but they should all be locked up in the gun-clubs club-house and not be let out unless people decided to go hunting/skeet-shooting. You do...

Well, as for my view of everything after looking through the entire set of posts, i must say one thing that will stop ALL CRIME (this is a shocker): We must ban intelligence, plain and simple... We make better things to enhance our lives (intelligence makes us better) Criminals want these better thi...

No. Hammers are tools. Bats are sporting implements. Cars are vehicles. Guns are weapons. You can kill people with anything. You can kill people with your bare hands. Guns are made specifically to kill people. This is beautiful...I've got a substantal amount of guns at my house that are TARGET or C...

I don't care what you use for target shooting, as long as it isn't a lethal weapon. I'm quite willing to forego a small amount of pleasure derived from a sporting passtime if it increases the safety of me and my family and other innocents. Shit, lets ban cars, bikes, and all forms of transportation...

Times change bud, we don't have to protect ourselves from the local injun war party. That's one of the reasons we spend so much damn money in taxes to support a peace time army of overpaid guberment employees to protect us from the precious-fluid stealing commies and nasty towel-headed terroorists ...

I have no problems with gun ownership - I own a handgun and think I have that right. Concealed carry should not be included as a right. I don't own a gun for protection as a primary reason, I just like to target practice ocassionally. There are very few situations where you would be able to protect...

Trigger locks are fine for trying to protect children, and i guess they work, but i believe the better method is to teach kids practical gun safety and keep them around guns...I've been around them all my life, and i have never done anything stupid with them. As for the assault rifles, pretty much t...

My quick reply: I have an assault rifle, and, being a concientious shooter, I use it for target shooting. As for the automatics, semi's, and so on, the purpose of having them is that they are FUN to shoot and they can serve historical purposes. Also, growing up in a survivalist family, if the govern...

Let the Gun Rights Argument Begin
I love guns, plain and simple. I'm a member of the NRA and of the Army, and I love to hear political debate on the topic of guns, especially assault weapons and pistols. I'm all for concealed carry of handguns, and the ownership of assault rifles. (I have both) So, I want to hear everyone's opinions...
